Michael Maguire, Director of Office Operations at UMS Healthcare, reached out to SDTEK during the process of moving offices. They were interested in a new phone system, rather than move the old one. They also wanted to consolidate toll free usage and multiple phone bills, while paying less for phone service. UMS Healthcare paid the phone bills for external sales staff, but with the new phone system, the sales staff were able to make calls over the Internet. A phone and data service provider was picked that saved them $1100 a month in usage and recurring costs. UMS Healthcare also needed data cabling in the new office and their computers to be moved and supported. SDTEK installed the new phone system, as well as the service providers equipment and setup the office with a file server for centralized storage.
