OBJECTIVE:
MFB is a producer of wholesome snack foods that are sold nationwide to distributors and retail stores. Over the past year MFB has experienced many successes and outgrew the capacity of their phone system. MFB began to research alternative phone systems that would provide employees with flexibility when traveling, more efficient communication, and the ability to meet the future growth of the company. CHALLENGE:
MFB’s current phone system was an ESI IVX X-Class Digital Phone System that was running out of capacity to meet the company’s needs. The ESI IVX X-Class phone system had one more expansion slot available before it would have been at full capacity, halting growth. A decision had to be made whether to continue investing in the ESI phone system or to find a new solution that had the capacity to grow with the company’s current and future needs.
SOLUTION:
The decision was made to find a new solution to invest in that would not only provide more capacity but facilitate growth through improved efficiency. MFB selected the Switchvox SMB AA300 product to accomplish just that. With Switchvox, MFB can expand up to 150 extensions. There were many other benefits gained in the transition such as softphone capability, voicemail to email, and presence. MFB can now offer traveling staff a softphone to continue working through the Switchvox system without incurring long distance charges or requiring a separate phone number.

RESULT:
Since deploying Switchvox, MFB has increased the overall efficiency of it operations. The staff can be more accessible and therefore more productive.
